Palace Launch Fall 2024 Collection: Here's A Sneak Peek

Palace’s third seasonal offering of 2024 is here, and it’s nothing short of spectacular. Known for its expansive collections, the London-based brand delivers hundreds of styles that blend practicality with whimsy, all tied together by Palace’s signature graphic branding and a nod to skate and throwback sportswear influences. This season, the brand continues to push the envelope with city-exclusive Champion collaborations, a “Palace Guard” capsule, and an abundance of GORE-TEX and Polartec materials.

Sweatshirts:

Sweatshirts are aplenty, available in both zip and non-zip varieties. Standouts include a wordmark hoodie adorned with Celtic crosses on its sleeves, a vibrant “Peace and Love” graphic hoodie featuring an array of national flags, and a text logo hoodie with Earth graphics. Palace’s familiar embellishments are ever-present, from the tri-text logo to various iterations of the brand’s iconic “P” logo. Striped crewnecks and several notable quarter-zip fleece items, including a unique asymmetrical zipper design, round out this cosy collection.

Champion Collaboration:

This season’s Champion collaboration dives deep into varsity style, offering exclusive hoodies and tees crafted from Champion’s renowned Reverse Weave cotton. Each piece is exclusive to its respective store locations in London, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, and Los Angeles. These pieces feature collegiate-style wordmark graphics nodding to their respective cities, and the hoodies add an extra pop with cream-colored strings and gold hardware.

Jackets:

Palace’s expertise in technical outerwear shines this season. Highlights include a fully waterproof GORE-TEX jacket with a stowable hood and lightweight wind jackets perfect for autumn breezes. Traditional varsity-style garments also make a statement, including a varsity jacket with a quilted hood and a tartan-lined car coat from the “Palace Guard” capsule, inspired by London’s iconic Kings Guard. The collection also boasts work-style jackets with quilted hoods, denim jackets, fuzzy animal-fur-like truckers, and a range of track jackets and sleeveless Polartec fleece vests.

Bottoms:

The selection of shorts and pants is one of the strongest segments of the Palace Fall 2024 collection. GORE-TEX and Polartec pants are designed to complement various tops and jackets, while tartan “Palace Guard” pants add a touch of classic British style. Denim options include a gothic-font Palace logo spread, zip-away styles revealing liners, and unadorned versions, along with skate-ready carpenter denim and cargo pants. Track pants and fleece sweatpants complete the line-up, ensuring there’s something for every occasion.

Knitwear and Shirts:

In contrast to the bold outerwear and fleece options, the knitwear collection is more restrained. Full-zip knits nod to Porsche with logo-flipped crests and wordmarks, while heart-and-star adorned sweaters offer a playful touch. The “Palace Guard” theme continues with tartan and brightly hued sweaters. Long-sleeve button-ups include camo shooter shirts with recoil-reducing pads, colourful flannels, and elegant oxfords. Short-sleeve button-ups range from whimsical prints to solid colour schemes, providing versatile options for layering.

Hats:

The hats and caps in this collection span a wide range of styles. From all-over print Realtree dad hats to furry trucker caps, there’s something for everyone. Technical options include running caps, GORE-TEX hats with face shrouds, and more from the “Palace Guard” capsule. Beanies and buckets arrive in force, with various GORE-TEX, Polartec, and traditional cotton options.

Longsleeves and T-Shirts:

Long sleeves and tees provide one of the most extensive ranges in the collection. Graphic tee highlights include a colourful watermelon vase, a reimagined “Peace and Love” graphic, and a homage to house music. A football-helmet adorned “Pallas” tee humorously flips the Dallas Cowboys logo. Long-sleeves offer straightforward styles, including two-tone options and staple “Basically a Longsleeve” designs, ensuring ample variety for layering and individual expression.

Tops

Tops this season are strongly influenced by sport, celebrating the Olympic year with a diverse range of athletic-inspired styles. The collection features football jerseys, both global and American, alongside baseball jerseys, paying homage to various athletic achievements. Complementing these are more traditional sportswear pieces such as color-blocked rugby shirts and classic polos. The line-up is completed with a variety of striped tees, adding a timeless touch to the sporty theme.

Footwear:

The footwear offering is succinct yet stylish, featuring a single pair of navy blue house slippers with gold embroidery. These slippers exude a classic elegance, showcasing a classical fountain design surrounded by text, making them a perfect addition to the collection for those who appreciate subtlety and sophistication.

Accessories:

This season’s accessories lean towards practicality, with items like mugs, key rings, belts, and stickers. However, Palace retains its playful spirit with a foam finger featuring a triumphantly extended middle digit, sure to delight fans with its cheeky charm.

Hardware:

Lastly, the collection includes a selection of skate decks, most featuring vibrant all-over collage prints. Notably, some decks incorporate egg imagery, multi-faced aliens, spray-painted collages, and macabre skull assemblages. For those preferring a more subdued look, geometric logo decks are also available, catering to diverse aesthetic preferences.

Palace’s Fall 2024 collection is a vibrant tapestry of urban flair, technical precision, and playful creativity, offering something for everyone. Whether you’re seeking practical outerwear, cosy sweatshirts, or stylish accessories, this collection promises to deliver.
