The Celebrity Fashion At The Emily In Paris Season 4 Premiere

While in the world of sports we might be heading into a much deserved pause after almost a month long Olympic Games, the world of fashion has no time for a break. With the end of summer we are starting to see more and more movie and series premiere and with this - the inevitable fashion choices of the stars and their stylists trying to outshine everyone on the red carpet .

One such red carpet was the Emily in Paris premiere making headlines across the globe. Being one of the most anticipated Netflix shows of the year has its perks but also - downfalls. And we are here to take a peek at who’s wearing what.

Lily Collins

Lily Collins wore a sparkly Giorgio Armani gown paired with Cartier earrings, and slightly out of character she actually doesn’t look too bad. The shiny printed strapless top of the dress fits her well, helps accentuate the waist and leads into a skirt which flows intricately out, revealing the slim gown piece underneath which has a chain link-like design.

Lucien Laviscount

If we were to skip the designer in question, who for some reason the majority of the celebrities are wearing at this specific premiere ( *cough D&G), the suit in question is a good reminder that you can wear one to a red or pink carpet in this scenario and not look dreadfully boring. The asymmetrical design with a knot is a nice touch.

Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu

Just like the show, she absolutely took over the red carpet in a shimmery black Schiaparelli gown which is slim at the waist and extends outwards at the hips to create an hourglass silhouette, perhaps a couture piece.

Ashley Park and Paul Forman

We see Ashley in a shimmering silver gown built of layers on layers of chiffon treated to create this intricate texture on texture look. Does it remind us of rolls on rolls of layers of toilet rolls? Indeed it does, but one cannot be too angry. Paul Forman on the other hand wears the brand that shouldn’t be named. A well fitted suit, one can appreciate a shear shirt, but I mean it is a suit. Not much to say really. NEXT

William Abadie

According to his Instagram and to multiple sources, no one actually knows the brand he is wearing but the suit does look quite nice with this floral pattern in green tones. I would change the loafers because the camel colour is too light or perhaps too dark, very average.

Samuel Arnold

Samuel must've gotten the memo on what colour that red carpet would be, as he has totally matched it. Which could be a great and a terrible thing both at the same time. Pick your choice. The suit is by Paul Smith and again, it is a suit not a single element suggests even a dire idea of what fashion is. The lapel is too wide, the blazer is too long and the shoes are giving us migraines.

Lucas Bravo

Lucas Bravo wears a dark navy Giorgio Armani suit in a slightly wider fit, matched with black shoes? Anyways

Bruno Gouery

Bruno has built such an engaging and interesting character in the show, and this bright yellow Fursac suit contrasted with black tie and Santoni black shoes just perfectly embody it. While some might say this is also a suit, yes it is, but does he look like he's taking a double lunch break outside HSBC? I don't think so.
